E is 22 weeks tomorrow.
She says has been feeling more and more baby movements but not regular enough to say it’s a kick. Though her anterior placenta is reducing E’s ability to feel kicks.
Our little one is making themself known to the World!- well mostly E. 😁
I write themself here. And say heshe or it to others. But we know the gender of our little one, but are keeping it a secret.
For the last few weeks we and especially I having been thinking about the future. This Christmas will (hopefully) be our last as a couple.
I have been thinking about baby things. Buggies & NCT, with other thoughts of baby stuff!
I’ve actually been thinking and researching a lot about buggies. Initially their cost. Jeez they are expensive! And the brands. And the accessories. And how to fold them up. And car seats eg Maxi Cosi.
My thoughts of a second hand buggie (aka stroller/ pushchair) were quickly dismissed. Everything else we would inherit from friends and family, but the buggie needed to be new.
Based on E’s sisterly advice, we were told about Bugaboo. Not the cheapest out there but hard wearing. E’s sister had a Bugaboo Bee which looked good, folded easily but has small wheels which don’t seem v agile for our outbound adventures, so I looked at the Bugaboo Cameleon (as per the photo below) which has better wheels but looks bigger and more expensive. I’ve been trawling various websites and occasionally popping into shops but E wants me to be sure the buggie will fit through our front door.
We are still being relatively cautious with buying anything. Despite thinking about the buggie a lot we’re not actually buying it just yet. We do have gift vouchers left over from our wedding last year to pay for it partially, which is good news.
The other thing I’ve been thinking about a lot and have booked ourselves onto is NCT. I think I’ve mentioned about this before, so won’t go into it further. I have now booked E and I onto a local NCT course in March for end of April to mid May deliveries. Should be interesting… I hope.
Anyway, hope you all had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year in 2018!
